.C hits record setting 1,000 second-level domains sold

The folks at Gateway.io have alerted me that the .C #Handshake TLD officially has 1,000+ registrations!

Thanks to Namebase, Gateway,io, and everyone who's purchased a .C domain (for making this possible).

So there are two milestones hit so far:
(1) .C is in the top 500 TLDs by number of domains registered
(2) .C is the first TLD to hit 1,000 second-level domain registrations

Whoa awesome news!

Also it may help to clarify that .C is a top 500 TLDs by number of domains registered when compared against *ICANN TLDs*, which is friggin huge because .c was won for about ~$5k on Handshake, whereas ICANN TLDs cost $200k+ just to register.
