If I gift someone some subdomain will I be able to sell the main domain after that?
If yes, what will happen with subdomain?

you can sell the TLD; if it stays on NB, records probably remain for SLD [until the new owner might wipe them] .. if the new owner [or yourself] transfer it out of NB the records for any SLD will be lost
