Is there any way to retrieve a gifted subdomain, or to gift it in a temporary way?

You can use Namebase feature... 1. Enter the domain manager menu 2. Choose the domain 3. Click manage-button 4. Click the Gift Subdomain menu 5. Input the email of the target user/customer 6. Ensure the target user claims the subdomain via email and via his/her Namebase's Account (2x) 7. Done
If you want to cancel the subdomain gift, just delete the data on the txt record that is filled with some records about the subdomain.
Hello, Regarding cancel, this only seems possible for unclaimed gifts.
have u tried deleting the records?
The records only existed while the gift was "in action", after claim has been made, no records.
I also was able to still claim the gift, even after deleting records. So, it seems even deleting the txt is not enough to stop a gift from taking place.
Note: So far, I'm only trying this by gifting to my own emails.
The sub domains also don't appear as useful as the main domains. They don't have the option of easy forwarding like the main domains do.
Yes. I've just tested to give myself a subdomain. Even though I already deleted the record the subdomain still exists. But I couldn't customize anything on dLink.
Although this feature is just an experimental feature, I think Namebase should add a feature to remove the subdomain.
